Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'filesystem' = '%WINDIR%\Help\tmp.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'JavaUpdateLauncher' = '<SYSTEM32>\update.kno'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\setup.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\4493752.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\update.kno
Modifies settings of Windows Internet Explorer:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Associations] 'LowRiskFileTypes' = '.exe;.chm;.kno'
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %WINDIR%\Help\tmp.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\update.kno
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\4493752.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>\update.kno
- %WINDIR%\Help\tmp.exe
