Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'neefuuc' = '%HOMEPATH%\neefuuc.exe /j'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\neefuuc.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
Creates and executes the following:
- %HOMEPATH%\2xek.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\neefuuc.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\NB4wr66jY4.exe
Executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\tasklist.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\2xek.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\neefuuc.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\NB4wr66jY4.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- %HOMEPATH%\neefuuc.exe
