Technical Information
To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'msinit' = '<SYSTEM32>\msinit.bat'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-790565478-1060287698-527137240-2506\msinit1.bat
Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
Executes the following:
- %WINDIR%\sleep.exe 2
- <SYSTEM32>\attrib.exe +r +s +h E:\autorun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>\reg.exe add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer" /v "NoDriveTypeAutoRun" /t REG_DWORD /d "0x91" /f
- <SYSTEM32>\attrib.exe +s +h del.bat
- <SYSTEM32>\attrib.exe +r +s +h E:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-790565478-1060287698-527137240-2506\msinit.bat
- <SYSTEM32>\attrib.exe +r +s +h <SYSTEM32>\msinit.bat

Forces autoplay for removable media.
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <Current directory>\tmp2.bat
- <Current directory>\del.bat
- <SYSTEM32>\123321.bat
- %TEMP%\2821.bat
- <Current directory>\tmp1.bat
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-790565478-1060287698-527137240-2506\msinit.bat
- <Current directory>\del.bat
- <SYSTEM32>\msinit.bat
- %TEMP%\2821.bat
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
Deletes the following files:
- <Current directory>\tmp2.bat
- %TEMP%\2821.bat
- <Current directory>\tmp1.bat
Moves the following system files:
- from <DRIVERS>\etc\hosts to <DRIVERS>\etc\hоsts
Substitutes the HOSTS file.
Deletes itself.
