Creates or modifies the following files
- %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\start menu\programs\startup\ad609832d6592c0fae858b142d39c3c7.exe
Creates the following files on removable media
- <Drive name for removable media>:\ad609832d6592c0fae858b142d39c3c7.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
Malicious functions
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
Executes the following
- '%WINDIR%\syswow64\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%TEMP%\RarSFX0\WindowsApplication1_boxed.exe" "WindowsApplication1_boxed.exe" ENABLE
Modifies file system
Creates the following files
- %TEMP%\rarsfx0\windowsapplication1_boxed.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files
- <Drive name for removable media>:\ad609832d6592c0fae858b142d39c3c7.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- %TEMP%\rarsfx0\windowsapplication1_boxed.exe
- %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\start menu\programs\startup\ad609832d6592c0fae858b142d39c3c7.exe
