- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'FilterCheck' = 'c:\msocache\ntldr.exe'
Creates or modifies the following files:
- %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\Disk Cleanup.lnk
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\My Videos.lnk
- <Drive name for removable media>:\My Pictures.lnk
- <Drive name for removable media>:\My Music.lnk
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- C:\MSOCache\U3Launcher.exe
Executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\wscript.exe "C:\MSOCache\bvs.vbe"
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- C:\MSOCache\BVs.VBE
- C:\MSOCache\ntldr.exe
- %TEMP%\ginstall.dll
- C:\MSOCache\U3Launcher.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- C:\ntldr.exe
- C:\MSOCache\ntldr.exe
Deletes the following files:
- C:\MSOCache\BVs.VBE
- %TEMP%\ginstall.dll

Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'CabinetWClass' WindowName: ''
