Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\System.exe
Malicious functions:
Executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\wbem\wmiadap.exe /im QQ.exe /f
- <SYSTEM32>\wbem\wmiadap.exe /R /T
- <SYSTEM32>\taskkill.exe /im QQ.exe /f
Injects code into
the following system processes:
- <SYSTEM32>\wbem\wmiadap.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- C:\Autorun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>\wbem\Performance\WmiApRpl_new.ini
- C:\System.exe
- %WINDIR%\pchealth\helpctr\binaries\msconfig.com
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\System.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Autorun.inf
- C:\System.exe
- C:\Autorun.inf

Searches for the following windows:
