To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Taskbar' = 'rundll32.exe "%APPDATA%\win.sxs",DllRegisterServer'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\ieiiaaee.sxs
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
Malicious functions:
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\rundll32.exe' "%APPDATA%\win.sxs",DllRegisterServer
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\win.sxs
- %TEMP%\NGDBIMOHLNGDBI.tmp
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\ieiiaaee.sxs
- %APPDATA%\win.sxs
Deletes the following files:
- %TEMP%\NGDBIMOHLNGDBI.tmp
Deletes itself.
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: '(null)'
