To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] 'Userinit' = '%WINDIR%\userinit.exe,'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '' = 'cmd.pif'
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows] 'load' = 'syshost.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\boot.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%WINDIR%\taskmgr.exe'
- '<SYSTEM32>\syshost.exe'
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\cmd.pif
- %WINDIR%\userinit.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\syshost.exe
- %WINDIR%\taskmgr.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\boot.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf

UDP:
- DNS ASK ad.#omv.cn
