Substitutes the following executable system files:
- <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\taskmgr.exe with <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\taskmgr.exe.new
- <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\msconfig.exe with <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\msconfig.exe.new
- <SYSTEM32>\taskmgr.exe with <SYSTEM32>\taskmgr.exe.new
- %WINDIR%\pchealth\helpctr\binaries\msconfig.exe with %WINDIR%\pchealth\helpctr\binaries\msconfig.exe.new
Infects the following executable files:
- <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\msconfig.exe.new
- <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\taskmgr.exe.new
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\New Folder.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %WINDIR%\system\TSCMGR.DAT
- C:\New Folder.exe
- %WINDIR%\system\MSKON.DAT
Deletes the following files:
- %WINDIR%\pchealth\helpctr\binaries\msconfig.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\taskmgr.exe
Moves the following files:
- from <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\taskmgr.exe.new to <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\taskmgr.exe
- from <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\msconfig.exe.new to <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\msconfig.exe
- from <SYSTEM32>\taskmgr.exe.new to <SYSTEM32>\taskmgr.exe
- from %WINDIR%\pchealth\helpctr\binaries\msconfig.exe.new to %WINDIR%\pchealth\helpctr\binaries\msconfig.exe
