- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '<Virus name>.exe' = '%APPDATA%\<Virus name>.exe'
Creates or modifies the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\wrUwC.exe
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\wrUwC.exe
Malicious functions:
Executes the following:
- '%WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\cvtres.exe' /NOLOGO /READONLY /MACHINE:IX86 "/OUT:%TEMP%\RES2.tmp" "%TEMP%\CSC1.tmp"
- '%WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\csc.exe' /noconfig /fullpaths @"%TEMP%\epivrvyx.cmdline"
Terminates or attempts to terminate
the following user processes:
- outpost.exe
- bdagent.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %TEMP%\RES2.tmp
- %TEMP%\CSC1.tmp
- %APPDATA%\<Virus name>.exe
- %TEMP%\epivrvyx.dll
- %TEMP%\epivrvyx.0.cs
- %APPDATA%\lshss.exe
- %TEMP%\epivrvyx.out
- %TEMP%\epivrvyx.cmdline
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\wrUwC.exe
Deletes the following files:
- %TEMP%\epivrvyx.out
- %TEMP%\epivrvyx.cmdline
- %TEMP%\epivrvyx.dll
