- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '{0511-7012-3330-2796}' = '%HOMEPATH%\Templates\NBQS.exe'
Creates or modifies the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\File.exe
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\NBQS.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%HOMEPATH%\Templates\NBQS.exe'
- '%HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\File.exe'
- '%HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\File.exe' (downloaded from the Internet)
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- C:\autorun.inf
- C:\NBQS.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\Templates\NBQS.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\NBQS.exe
- C:\autorun.inf
- C:\NBQS.exe
