Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'igfxtray Module' = '%WINDIR%\igfxtray.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce] 'wextract_cleanup0' = 'rundll32.exe <SYSTEM32>\advpack.dll,DelNodeRunDLL32 "%TEMP%\IXP000.TMP\"'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\USB.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%TEMP%\IXP000.TMP\igfxtray.exe'
- '%TEMP%\RarSFX0\Minecraft.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\regsvr32.exe' /s %WINDIR%\msinet.ocx
- '<SYSTEM32>\regsvr32.exe' /s %WINDIR%\mswinsck.ocx
- '<SYSTEM32>\ntvdm.exe' -f -i1
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %WINDIR%\mswinsck.ocx
- %WINDIR%\Temp\scs2.tmp
- %WINDIR%\msinet.ocx
- %WINDIR%\Opened.dat
- %WINDIR%\igfxtray.exe
- %TEMP%\IXP000.TMP\igfxtray.exe
- %TEMP%\RarSFX0\Minecraft.exe
- %TEMP%\IXP000.TMP\startjar.bat
- %WINDIR%\Temp\scs1.tmp
- %TEMP%\IXP000.TMP\MinecraftLauncher.jar
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\USB.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
Deletes the following files:
- %WINDIR%\Temp\scs2.tmp
- %WINDIR%\Temp\scs1.tmp
