- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Apple iPod Service' = '%APPDATA%\iTunes.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Wireless\Settings\iTunes.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Wireless\Settings\Desktop.ini
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\iTunes.exe'
Searches for windows to
detect programs and games:
- ClassName: 'MSNHiddenWindowClass' WindowName: ''
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\iTunes.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\qwdijxxixojdxf.tmp
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Wireless\Settings\iTunes.exe
- %APPDATA%\iTunes.exe
