- <Drive name for removable media>:\Root2.exe.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Root1.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\659a96984d442126f929377d8bef9c00.exe
Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '<Full path to virus>' = '<Full path to virus>:*:Enabled:<Virus name>.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "<Full path to virus>" "<Virus name>.exe" ENABLE
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\My Documents\My Music\Root1.exe.exe
- <Current directory>\Root1.exe
- C:\Root1.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\My Documents\My Pictures\Root1.exe.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\My Documents\Root1.exe.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Root1.exe.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Root1.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Root2.exe.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\659a96984d442126f929377d8bef9c00.exe
