Creates the following services:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\KAVsys] 'ImagePath' = '<DRIVERS>\vga.sys'
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\KAVsys] 'Start' = '00000001'
Infects the following executable system files:
- <DRIVERS>\vga.sys
Substitutes the following executable system files:
- <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\vga.sys with <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\vga.sys.new
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\mrsne.bat
Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
Creates and executes the following:
- %WINDIR%\2.exe
Injects code into
the following system processes:
- %WINDIR%\Explorer.EXE
Installs hooks to intercept notifications
on keystrokes:
- Handler for all processes: <SYSTEM32>\kavo0.dll
Searches for windows to
bypass different anti-viruses:
- ClassName: 'AVP.Product_Notification' WindowName: ''
- ClassName: 'AVP.AlertDialog' WindowName: ''
Restores hooked functions in System Service Descriptor Table (SSDT).
Forces autoplay for removable media.
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\vga.sys.new
- C:\mrsne.bat
- C:\autorun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>\kavo0.dll
- %WINDIR%\2.exe
- %TEMP%\587.dll
- <SYSTEM32>\kavo.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- C:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\mrsne.bat
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>\kavo.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\kavo0.dll
- C:\mrsne.bat
Deletes the following files:
- %WINDIR%\2.exe
Moves itself:
- from <Full path to virus> to %TEMP%\tru1.tmp

Searches for the following windows:
